In any case, I started to feel a bit better yesterday, and I actually had a great time at the show! My voice returned spontaneously halfway through the set, and that gave me reason to smile... A few of our friends were at the show, and were taking pictures.
During TobyMac's set, I was given yet another reason to smile.... I was told that there was a certain guitar that needed smashing (note: the guitar was already broken at the neck). I don't think I've ever had the pleasure of smashing a guitar before.... so I was pretty excited. Again, our friend Jesi captured the moment.
This is all that was left when I was through...
It was a great night! Thanks to all the folks that came out to Tupelo... We'll be back in your area on April 4th in Biloxi, with Mercy Me and Jeremy Camp... Hope to see you then!

Ya know what you need to do with that guitar? Light it on fire. Me and my friend did that when I was at her house, and we were both bored and angry... So we smashed a guitar... then as night set in, we lit it on fire... the matches wouldn't work... so we made a flamethrower out of a match and a can of hairspray... The best part? 1. We got it all on camera, 2. She recently duct taped the thing back together and it's sitting on her wall!!!
is smashing a guitar actually fun?
haha
so much fun! just so you know...jesi was my friend first. ;)
agh i hate it when ppl smash guitars. it's like dude give it to me instead! there are so many ppl out there who would love a free guitar xD
ah. yes. well, the guitar was already broken at the neck... i'd have a hard time smashing a perfectly good guitar too!
That looks like fun!! I have got to throw a tuba on the concrete one time in band. It was awesome!! haha
i would love to smash a guitar right now!!!!!!! BAD day.. busting up a drum set would be more fun, you could put firecrackers in it... other wise if someone hurts any instrument, i would be seriously upset..
funn! its kinda like your reward for regaining your voice! hehe :)
