Zurich was such a beautiful city.
It's amazing to walk around old European cities. They've seen so much history.... far more than our North American cities. Zurich, for instance, has apparently been permanently settled for over 7,000 years, and was formerly called Turicum (thanks wikipedia). It's seen massive empires come and go. Amazing to think about.

i totally agree about the history thing. when i went to scotland and saw the house where "Braveheart" William Wallace, and Mary Queen of Scots were held as prisoners, i was awed. Europe is so pretty too!
