Confessions of a Bandwagon Ducks Fan.

Hey All....

So I've never been a big football fan.... but it's hard to maintain that track record when you've got a friend like my buddy Adam.... who is the biggest Oregon Ducks fan EVER. He watches every Oregon Ducks game in the front lounge of our tour bus (Adam does merchandise with us, so tours with us wherever we go). As the Duck's season has progressed, I've gone from casually listening to the game whilst writing emails to watching every play in complete anxiety.

Tonight the Oregon Ducks played the Oregon State Beavers in a civil war game that would determine who goes to the Rose Bowl on Jan 1st. It was a hard-fought game, but Oregon emerged victorious!

Ducks win PAC-10 championship! They're goin to the rose bowl!

Of course Adam lost his MIND at the end. I think he'll probably cry tears of joy when he goes to bed. Haha....

So on January 1st I will be watching intently as Oregon takes on Ohio State in the Rose Bowl. Yeah!!!

my brother would hate you.

just tonight i was telling him not to judge all duck fans in one. just because of their reputation doesn't mean every single one of them is a jerk.

see, this is my proof.

but i know if i told him he would probably say "idiot" or something anyway.

so i might keep my mouth shut :P

but you should be a beaver cuz the guy who started your record label went to oregon state (where my parents went). he was even on the cover of their magazine thingy we get, and so was your Letters to the President! it was on the cover and inside, even as one of the albums they featured. it made me happy ^_^

Haha.. I know what it's like to blow sports off and then wait in anticipation... I hate every sport but hockey and extreme sports... LOL. I used to hate it when the Dew Tour was on TV but now I can't help but watch!

Haha. I remember being in Oregon two years ago when they played each other... it was crazy. We were sitting in traffic on the highway, and people were yelling from car to car about who would win, and arguing with the rivals. I had never seen anything like it!
